:: Battlefield Preservation ::
One can not stress the importance of preserving our history. America's bloodiest
conflict was fought here on her soil. When the battlefield's our ancestors fought
and fell on, are desecrated by buildings and housing, it destroy's what they fought
for and what these battlefields represent. Preserving these battlefield and
monuments is quite important.
Such organizations as the Civil War Preservation Trust, and Cedar Creek
Battlefield Foundation to only name a few, are dedicated to the preservation of
these wonderful places. The 5th Ind. O.S.S.  presently donates to the Civil War
Preservation Trust. Please, take a moment of your time, even if not to donate, look
at the wonderful work these organizations do to save our history.
